I've tried several sets of instructions on the Net for using MapSetToolKit and Basecamp always complains there's something wrong with the map install. there was one thread that was so long I started to lose the will to live - might be in there somewhere I've search A LOT on this site and not got a hit I'm pretty confident it must have been covered here. I've downloaded an IMG map file from the Talkietoaster site and want to install it in Basecamp (there's NO WAY I'm installing it onto my Garmin until I've thoroughly checked it out on the PC and frankly I'm actually more interested in multiple maps on the PC). OK, I'm beginning to believe this may be one of those technical tasks that contains in it's protocols a need to sacrifice a chicken under a full moon! (If you've never tried to install old style COM components on a Windows server you may not have encountered that protocol) ![]()
